I had a problem with Canada post once. I sent important documents to govt official and they didnt recieved for a month. Then, I contacted with Canadapost and complained to head office and everywhere. I got those documents back to my address ..in an another envelope said..that envelope was opened in a way..anyways..I got 114 dollars back from Canadapost that time. I complained that those documents were worth more than 1000 dollars and they said..it was not insured parcel so they can give max. 100 dollars to that parcel and 14 dollar was charge. So, I got 114 dollars worth of check back and meanwhile after 10 days I got those documents back too
So, actually I made 100 dollars out of it ..but my documents were delayed..

Hey Thanx 7wonders for giving me a ray of hope that I still stand a chance of getting my parcel back coz all that matters to me is to have that parcel which had some gifts for my newborn!!!...I dont care about any compensation etc as long as they get me that parcel.

Mumbai Maazi Ladki ...
Believe me the USPS call center agents are rude( I think Arrogance thy name is American) and she was answering my questions half asleep or something.
And u r absolutely right ..she did make me feel as if my sis acted cheap in sending the parcel by regular mail when she said u cant track it step by step on dispatch n receive info will be given ...Just live with it and wait...
I am going to get something done about it ...will again talk to Canada Post and USPS and get my parcel or at least get their apologies ..they just cant shun off my case like that for no fault of mine as Suggested by some Nobel friends here. Not willing to accept the fact that it happened Because I didnt call them whereas i did call USPS who took the parcel from US and when asked whom to contact in Canada ..told me to call back USPS only.People who have been here long enough may not realise how exasperating it can be for someone who is not able to see the " obvious/Anybody cud guess " things when he/she is misinformed !
