I plan to drive my car from U.S. to Canada. However, my tires are already due for a change. Especially, for such a long drive, I should get them changed. My question would be:
What kind of tires should I get in U.S. so that when I reach Canada, I don't have to spend once again on tires, OR Would it make no difference whatsoever, and I would still have to get the tires replaced again at the time of import?
Any advice?
go to http://www.riv.ca" rel="nofollow">LINK to get info on how to import car in Canada.
You dont have to replace the tires if you are just importing.
All season tires are normally used in Canada, but in winter
areound 18% do get winter tires in Ontario.
totally upto you, theres no law for tires.
to get an idea about the $$$ cost go to candaiantire.ca
Thanks. But I have heard you may have to get tires replaced at the time of inspection while importing your car. Isn't that true?
