Costco (You need membership) and Walmart are 2 cheap (or should I say reasonable) for getting your tires changed.
Besides, there are some places where they do sell second hand tires (starts from $10+ Installation fee+balancing fee). if you can give us your location, May be some CD's can shed more light to it.
Hope this helps.

Peace

What are you looking for? All-seasons? Winter tires? Summer tires? What brand are you interested in?

Canadian Tire carries some low-end brands and their installation charges are cheap. But again, you could be missing a few nuts and bolts :)

If you have the ability to travel to Buffalo (USA) which is about a 2 hr drive from Mississauga, you can save upto 70% on tires.

Check-out http://www.tirerack.com." rel="nofollow">LINK They offer a large selection of tires at deep discounts. You can also see what other customers are saying about a particular tire model.

Once you decide on a tire, you can have it shipped to any one of their recommended insallers in Buffalo(I recommend the Goodyear Service center in Amherst). Call the service center to book an appointment, drive over the border, get the tires installed and drive back - all together a seamless experience.

I have used tirerack a couple of times in the past (paid $338 for 4 Kumho tires including all taxes and installation - compare to $1200 (before taxes and installation here in Canada) and all my friends that have used it so far have been quite pleased as well.

LMK if you have any specific questions about this site.

Hello Desitigger,

The Buffalo deal looks quite good. As we all know in Canada things are much more expensive than in the US.

Just a question. If I get the tires from the website and get it shipped to the Goodyear Service center, how does the service center know? Or this is a normal practice.

Thanks,

The service center has a tie-up with tirerack(.)com . Also, you'll need to call them to setup an appointment (after placing the order for the tires) and you can let them know that the tires will be coming in from tirerack.
