IMO, the OCI card is your VISA and the current passport is your identity. As long as the personal information on the OCI card (Name/DOB/Gender etc..) matches with your current PP, you should be fine. However, Indian immigration is very subjective and experiences differ from person to person - so it is advisable to carry the original passport which appears on the OCI card.
