To apply for citizenship, I understand that :
I must have been physically present in Canada as a permanent resident for at least:
a) 1,460 days during the six years right before the date you sign your application
b) 183 days during each of four calendar years that are fully or partially within the six years right before the date I apply.
I first visited Canada as PR in Oct 2011 for landing purposes only. Later in Aug 2013 I permanently moved to Canada on PR and have been here since then.
I was employed by a Canadian company in 2015 during which I was required to travel outside Canada for official purposes. Thus I was outside Canada for 249 days in 2015.
I have been in Canada for more than 183 days in each year from 2014, except in the year 2015.
Can the 249 days I spent outside Canada in 2015 while on employment with a Canadian company be considered towards the physical presence requirement when applying for citizenship.
If not, when do I become eligible to apply for citizenship.
Thanks in advance.
What's the hurry for Citizenship ?
These days Canadian citizenship is more of a liability than anything else.

Thanks for the response.
I am aware that India doesn't allow dual citizenship and I will lose my Indian citizenship and Indian passport. However I will apply for OCI.
But my doubt is.... can the 249 days I spent outside Canada in 2015 while on employment with a Canadian company be considered towards the physical presence requirement when applying for citizenship.
If not, when do I become eligible to apply for citizenship.
