Our PR Card expiry is in July, 2008. Stayed in Canada only 40 days since the date of landing (June 2003).
We are working outside Canada now. However, our duaghter is a resident of Canada since the date of landing (June 2003) and is a full time student.
Would you please advise:
a) when should we return to Canada permanently in order to maintain our visa status and to eventually qualify for citizenship
b) if we do not return before the expiry of the PR Card (June, 2008), can we migrate as dependents of our daughter once she gets the citizenship?
c) can we delay our stay outside Canada till June, 2008?
Appreciate your reply, advice.
Thanks. Have a good day.
a) when should we return to Canada permanently in order to maintain our visa status and to eventually qualify for citizenship
