could u give me just general things what u bring to canada?So that i may get some idea.
I am staying in trinidad and tobago island near usa for last 3 years.but i am from india.I got PR 2 months ago.I am planning to go india for 3 months and back to canada in dec 2005.
I need accomadation in low price.i do not mind to share with some body.
I am 32 years old,unmarried,physiotherapist.
So please i need help.I do not know any one in canada.i know many in usa.But not in canada.If i come ur place,can i get job?I can do any job except lifting weights.I have BSC in botany ,zoology and chemistry too.BUt i worked as physiotherapist for 7 years.i know i have to do odd jobs in canada.I need ur guidence.

You can get odd jobs like security, retail sales, cleaner, job at McDonalds, etc. quite easily. Regarding physiotherapist, I am not sure. You will have to study here.
In Alberta, unemployment is at its lowest right now. However that does not mean you can get a job in your field. Even in a job like retail sales, you might have to do some lifting like boxes, maybe around 25-30 kgs. Pay would be around $8 to $12 per hour.
You might need to bring general things like Indian grocery items (most of it is available here although might be costly), winter clothes like thermalwear, jackets, winter caps. You would still need to buy winter jackets from here only. You might want to bring utensils, etc. if you prepare food at home. Since you are in Trinidad, you can transfer some of your belongings from there which might be cheaper compared to bringing them from India.
