Hi Guys

U people are the best to know more about the situation there. I am CA from India and filed for my PR.

Can u let me know what should i do further to increase my chances of getting a job in the audit field once i land there.

CGA / CMA possible only after getting my PR. How about Banking and finance jobs.

Ur advice in this regards will be of great help.

I would also like to join ur group.

hi guys!
i will also like to be a member of ur group but the problem is- i dont know when will be able to make it(i had applied for pr in nov 2004)
i am working in a public sector bank as deputy manager-loans.
what can i do over here to enhance my chances of getting job in canada- i am MFC from Pb Uni, Chd with CAIIB.
PL do reply as it can be of great help to me.

I am not sure about some of the rules. But check if you can
1) complete US CPA before you land in canada.
2) If you come with CPA completed abroad, you if may qualify for writing Canadian CA exams. If you complete CPA in canada, That does not count. Once you complete canadian CA you will have lots of opportunities.

As mentioned I have not kept up with changing rules but I knew that completing CPA before landing had more advantages than completing after landing.
