Hi Absy,
Well I'm no Mr. Massood ...But I'll try to answer
1 ) Information on Official website is correct you don't need PR card as long as you entering via private vehicle
http://www.hrsdc.gc.ca/asp/gateway.asp?hr=en/cs/sin/100.shtml&hs=sxn" target="_blank">http://www.hrsdc.gc.ca/asp/gateway.asp?hr=en/cs/sin/100.shtml&hs=sxn
it show that you don't need PR as long as you can show Landing paper with Passport
2) I don't think so, if you are not moving soon
3) Depending upon the agreement with the state and Ontario, you may be eligible for full G license
check this http://www.drivetest.ca/en/license/ExchangeOutProv.aspx" target="_blank">http://www.drivetest.ca/en/license/ExchangeOutProv.aspx</a>
you can contact them at these numbers 416-235-2999 or 1-800-387-3445

Hello Sukh and Massood,
Thank You both for the wonderful help. I am still in canada and i will be here till tomorrow.
As i mentioned earlier, i WANT TO KEEP my US license, i do not want to exchange it. In that case, do you think i need to apply for Canadian License, what should be my approach ?
Please let me know.
Thanks
Absy
If you WANT TO KEEP your US licenese then you don't need to apply Canadian license as you CAN'T HAVE both licenses at the same time as per law.
