Friends,
I landed in Canada in Nov 2004 and became a permanent resident. After this I came back to the US.
When I check my status online in the CIC website, it shows that I am a PR. However they still have not sent the PR by post to my Canadian address
Is there a way I can follow-up from the US?
I might have to travel to Canada in a month. Will I have problems entering Canada without the PR card or will the landing stamp suffice.
Appreciate your help and advice.
The PRC should arrive within 4 weeks of Landing. Since it hasn't, you should call up the toll-free number of CSIS. You will need the PRC or a Travel Document to enter Canada.
Hi,
Normally you should have received PR card in 6 weeks.
If you travel by car, u don't need PR card. You can have the passport and the copy of COPR.(Confirmation of PR document)
I finally received my PR card. Thanks for your help
