Something like two srilankan tamil's were arrested in Chennai airport for trying to fly out using fake passports. (This is what my tamil collegue translated for me) :-)

Two Lankans held with fake passports.
Chennai, Jan 16 (UNI) The Airport Police arrested two Sri Lankan Tamils on the charge of attempting to board an aircraft with fake passport at the Anna International Airport here, early today.
Airport sources said Kulenthiran (27), hailing from Neerveli near Jaffna, was arrested after the Immigration officials found his passport to be fake. He was about to board a TORONTO-bound Jet Airways flight.
In another incident, Simith Prasanna (44), hailing from Elangayil near Kandy, was arrested with a fake passport. He had booked ticket in a LONDON-bound British Airways flight.
Go Global but have a Valid Passport and Visa.

even i get laugs some times..but if you look at a different angle..u will feel sorry. Let me justify that in my angle (may be or may not be true).
Why any one side tracks or tries to break the system....answer is "To get more benefits"..
Here we are all sitting comfortablly and lauging at the people(srilankans or bosnian or some other natives) who are doing fake things to get out of those countries..
But why...u will get the answer..I believe their life styles are in jeopadry..caught between clases..no peace...no hope...no life...
Obviously they try to escape and wanted to lead normal life(even better) like all others
I am neighter supporting nor encouraging that act...
but i wanna ask a question myself or others in this forum...
What's the difference from people who paid money(means they are reasonablly wealthy) to come to these countries for luxaries or western life style
to..people who are faking passport to get away from their scary life....
Anyway...my first langauge is not ENGLSIH, hence i cannot put the my thoughts and feeling properly...
I believe some of them understood what i am trying to convey...if not just leave ..it...
Once again..life comes only once..let every one try to make it better by hook or crook:-(...

mkannuri, I totally agree with your point of view. Life is not easy in sri lanka and some other parts of the world (by seeing on tv). These guys want a better life for their kids and family. do you think it would be easy to come on the point system for an uneducated poor person overhere. no way, then they dont have any choice and still i dont say that i agree or disagree by doing something illegal to get out from there.

I belive you will be the same guys/girls who will resent people who come in point system (so called rich professional people who waited for years to come through the point system) but try to expolit the system by claiming CCTB/OAS/EI by residing outside Canada. It has been documented in CD.
