I am a PhD student registered recently in a Canadian university. I was earlier ( 2001-Aug2003)doing a full time PhD research for 2 years in India ( but discontinued when I came to Canada) and I used to get a monthly fellowship of 4400 pm and an yearly contingency fund of Rs10,000. Since I had conti nuously studied I dont have a work experience. My question is can I use my 2 years in India as PhD as a work experience or not. My would be spouse is also a PhD student( in India) and she will complete the program next year. Please advice me
sincerely

You need minimum one year experience to be eligible. Research work during PhD can be considered as 'work experience'.
