I now see the mistake that i did . When i had been to Primerica interview, he first told me that the job was not architecture. i felt betrayed. He then further told me that i will work for comissions and not have salary. I was really mad at him. He then told me 2 situations (totally diff . approach in each) and asked me to choose and then substantiate the answer. My blood really boiled at that time. I told him on the face that he was wasting my time and walked out. I guess i was wrong. i should have taken that interview and learnt something from it. you know (in that time) i had to travel 2 hrs. for that interview (luckily it was not cold) and i was frustrated that i ended up for that interview. that is why i lost my cool.
When i called up and asked him about the job, he told me that it was a very interesting position.
Later in life, i used to get all calls from agencies regarding my resume abd they always told me that they wanted to interview me at their place (possible to see if i was really interested in my job) and ask me all sorts of questions but then never call me.
An interesting mistake that you should not make :
i was finally granted an interview at a mississauga based glazing co.. the President asked me a question about how many people were in my office at saudi arabia (it was 500 people) and this co. in miss. had 40 people and both were giving the same output. he asked me why. i told him that all the people there were labourers from the third world countries who would require a greater manpower than for the same job in Canada b'cos we actually would not expect such a great output from people from the 3rd. wrold countries like nepal, bangaladesh etc.. working for SR 600 ( around INR 7000). these people paid rs. 60,000 to rs100,000 to agent for coming here. though i answered all their technical questions, they did not call me. possibly b'co of my comments abt. people from the 3rd. world
