I think may be this will be an eye opener for all the guys back home trying to make a quick buck.
This will for sure increase the professional approach among these young call centre guys.
I in no way see the trend reversing because it is a lot cheaper and saves millions of dollars. Although I would like to see the guys not having to take the abuse from these callers just becuase they are losing their jobs.
From what I read in the sun the company involved in the outsourcing which is british said it had not sent any bank details of anybody so they are not sure how credible the story of THE SUN is? We will find out more as we go along.
What is to learn from this is that if a white guy had done this there would be not so much hullagulla over it (No I am not being a racist),
The fact that just one indian guy becomes a mirror for the whole country, Just by the act of one guy they are out there maligning the BPO industry and the country. We all should for that matter realise that we just dont represent ourself in a global world, we represent our entire community everybody who is Indian.
So next time you talk something silly or do something like that in a foreign land remind yourself that you are representing the entire Indian population with your act and same would apply when you achieve something marvellous.
