I am looking for a mp3 version of the patriotic song "Sare Jahan Se Accha" sung by Lata Mangeshker.
I will appreciate if someone could upload this song on this website for free download.

I really don't know. This video clip was recorded in 1998, it says that in the video clip.

Original Vande Mataram was from Anandmath. The one from 1998 is song and music video from Vande Mataram 2 Album from Bharat Baala Production (First part was done by AR Rehman).

Please don't get confused between two songs
Sunilji is asking for "Saare Jahaan Se Acchha" song written by Iqbal (who incidentally moved to Pakistan after partition). This is a non-filmi song.
ALTHOUGH there is a song "Saare Jahaan Se Accha" sung by Asha Bhosle and not Lata Mangeshkar in film "Bhai Bahen". But except for the first line, the lyrics are different. Iqbal's song talks about "Mazhab Nahin Sikhata, Aapas Mein Bair Rakhna". While Ashaji's songs has lines like "Veeran Kar Diya Tha, Aandhi Ne Is Chaman Ko, Dekar Lahu Bachaya, Gaandhi Ne Is Chaman Ko"......................
There is an original version of "Saare Jahaan Se Achha" often heard on All India Radio. Wonder if you can get that song.
"Vande Mataram" is from movie "Anand Math" sung by Lataji and Hemant Kumar. An excellent song. There is no way, anybody else can repeat those heavily Sanskritized verses at such fast pace. "Sapta Koti Pal Ko Kal Kal Ninad Kar Le, Dwishpta Koti............".
I believe Lataji also released the same song somewhere in her 90s with her 90s voice ( a far cry from her voice in 50s and 60s).
By Bankim chandraji's "ill-luck", ARR decided to create his "own" interpretation of "Vande Mataram" and thus you have ARR "singing" at the top of his lungs. Although I love ARRs music, I believe he should have never tried of experimenting with this masterpiece.
But, if anybody needs either of the two songs, let me know. I MAY have the song
