Has anybody subscribed to Roger's phone?

As per faq on their site, it is not a VOIP, and 911 is available, and there is a battery backup in case of power failure.

It is a bit cheaper than Bell (since I have TV/Internet by rogers), and they give 18c per min for India

The faq looks tempting.

Are you talking about Sprint now Rogers Home Phone?

I have had Sprint (now Rogers) for quite some time now. I have not had any problems with the service.

I personally hate rogers..............Crappy high speed internet and blurred digital cable at times and to add to that retarded customer serviece techs.
Your exp's could be different. For high speed internet try ontario dsl cheap and great speed. For phones try rapidtel

Hi,

Can you please let us know what you are paying to RAPIDTEL for the VOIP service and what do you get. I am using PRIMUS for the VOIP and find it cheaper with good service.

Also please let me know how much ONTARIODSL would charge for comparable service from Bell as my contract with Bell is coming up for renewal.

Thanks
