Seems like they are accepting the fact that it was a mistake on their part not to have contacted me earlier. The reason for the title change on the post is because if there are any members from CD who go to that GYM they can watch out for this kind of stuff and avoid it for themselves.

I got done with the crap last night. Two months payment and little payment in service charges.
My reasoning was if they had sent me a notice at the end of the first month informing me about the rejection of payment I would have gotten back to them and cancelled my services and 30 day notice applies which would still make it 2 mnths.
The second reasoning was even if my credit card was accepting the payment I would have seen the charge come throgh and cancelled the membership. Which would still be 2 months.
They tried their best to convince or rather "scare" me of the consequences with my credit history and all that usual crap. I told them to f off and do whatever they have to collect the amount. This is what I am paying and thats it no less no more. If they want it they can have it or else kiss goodbye.
And eventually they agreed.
Regardless of how you look at my case I come out the loser no matter but at the end of the day I can go home thinking principally I have not been wronged. I was irresponsible enough to have let it slip through so I should pay a price but it should be me who decides how much I should pay.
Bottom line is If you dont call the shots someone else will.

I think I slept peacefully last night..........I also told my wife not to buy me anything for christmas as this was my christmas gift for myself.
