Ok, this isnt a very good question, I agree but owing to the situation, i am asking
scenario :
1) I stay in canada for 3 years , file taxes each year without any Income : assuming i am staying with my relatives and helping with their business, however without any paystub, and i apply for citizenship :
what are my chances of gettting through?

I don't believe citizenship applications stipulate any form of employment or income as a condition. Any other takers on this?
So, you should not have any issues.

Here is information directly from CIC's website:
To become a Canadian citizen you must:
be 18 years of age or older;
be a permanent resident of Canada;
have lived in Canada for at least three of the four years before applying;
be able to communicate in either English or French;
know about Canada;
know about the rights and responsibilities of citizenship;
Income isnt a requirement. Also, children under 18 years of age do not have to wait for three years (parents must apply for the child)
Hope that helps
go to cic.gc.ca for any further information!
good luck

Thanks, The only concern i have in my mind is that CIC could question ;
what were you doing all these 3 years without income "0 dollars", that too with family, although its not stipulated in the rules as you said.

You are not required to submit your I tax returns or declare your income for last few years on your citizenship application. That is the first thing.
Still if you are worried, a simple explanation is - you are looking for starting your own business and hense you have no income - you are being supported by your family.
And though it has nothing to do with citizenship, never say that you are helping your relations in their business for food and shelter in return. That food and shelter will be termed as income in kind!

If someone has been working in US /India during this time, when they ask for their Passport details , the visas will show and they will know he/she worked outside and not showed that Income . This is a tax default criminal case .
So it is okay for someone who has actually not worked in canada and also have no visas H1b - L1b visas and also not worked anywhere else. For him it is okay to file a 0 income when actually his income is zero
