hello friends,
my husband got first time opportunity in civil field, same work what he had done in india, at florida after 3&1/2 years being setteled in canada. now we are moving on h1b visa soon.
we both have good salery here, have recently bought house but my husband dosent have job satisfaction working in other field. so i think its better to move where he get his desired job.
my confusion is that i am pregnant and due on september, while my husband has to move on october. whant could be the best option for delivery? whether in canada or in U.S as we are already moving there.
i have heard that now the rule is changed and if you deliver there the government won't allow your child to come back in canada. is that true?
please guide me the prpons and cons of getting delivered in u.s and then i would have to come back in canada and then planning to go to india and then will join florida then after.
we both have applied for citizenship but haven't get the date for test yet.
and what is the best way to send the goods to florida? U.P.S or movers as we have to bare the cost on our own.
thanking you
Hi,
If your husband is starting his job in October, his employer will provide health coverage only from Oct.1st in US. How would you pay for the delivery costs? Even if you take health coverage independently, I doubt that your delivery will be covered because it comes under pre existing condition.
If your child is born in US, he/she will be a US citizen. He/she can stay in Canada as a visitor but to have benefits of PR, you have to sponsor the kid under family class.
On the other hand, if the child is born in Canada, he/she will be Canadian citizen and the child can come with you to US on H4 visa.
So think well and decide.
Good Luck!!!
