Sorry ladies, I cant see you eye to eye when u don’t wear dupatta. My eyes are going somewhere else. Since I cant make eye contact and dont want to stare at a particular spot(s), I need to look elsewhere and that’s taken as an insult by some women.
Disclaimer (many thanks to TK): This is my observation only. Hope I haven’t hurt any feelings.

What's wrong with you? You can't look a woman in her eyes because the shape of her curves are visible? Does she need to wrap the dupatta around her behind too so that you don't feel compelled to ogle that too?

I was thinking if womens start a topic, "y mens don't wear under wears like superman; on top of trousers"
hahahahaha
I remember the "ragging days" when our seniors made us wear our underwear and belt over the pants and put a shoe on each side so we could act like PHANTOM![]()

The topic itself explains the thinking of this member. I was not aware that this kind of thinking still exists.
What does this mentality of some men prefer women to do? wear sarees & cover them from head to toe?? Why dupatta serves so important part? I was thinking that after coming to Canada, at least these people should change.
This again explains how women for some men still is just a different body.
Lock the thread please, before we get any more nasty responses.

I have observed that some women (majority south Indians) don’t wear dupatta when they dress in salwar-kameez. I don’t get it and I am baffled. At least put it on one shoulders and cover one side of the chest. Many south indian women, specifically from lower middle class families and who come from smaller cities know only to wear sarees, now wear salwar kameez (nothing wrong) after moving to the wonderland, don’t wear dupatta. Why is this? Even moms with teenage children do so.
Women who are well built look awful when they don’t wear dupatta. When these women come towards me to talk, I have prayed god “please don’t let her say hello to me” and I avoid eye contact.
