I was wondering most of our parents ought to be around 50 years of age i.e. very high probability of diabetes/hyper tension/ heart ailment e.t.c or age related problems that are common in India.
How would they be clearing their medicals id given the go ahead for multiple visa or immigration...............what does past experience tell us
COME ON LETS DICUSS THE ISSUE........................WITH MOST PARENTS ABOVE 50 YEARS , HEART, BP , DIABETES IS A NORMAL PROBLEM......HOW DOES CIC TREAT THE SAME FOR CANADIAN ADDMISSION
IMHO, the the most important purpose of doing the medical tests is to screen immigrants for communicable diseases. Tuberculosis, HIV etc...
It is understood that any person migrating under parents category over the age of 55-60 would have some age related health issues. Unless the situation is imminently serious, any controllable and non-communicable medical condition should not be a criteria for denying visa.
When I went for my medicals i was recording higher than normal blood pressure, probably due to anxiety, the doctors reported the higher BP in the report but i had no problems for my visa. The doctor even told me not to worry about it.
Now i am not an expert and i am only relating to my experience and common sense approach which I hope CIC would take in case of medicals of parents.
I look forward to inputs from the experts.

What can be imagined, can be achieved.
Visitors won't be denied visas for minor 'problems' like diabetes and hypertension.
