HI FRIENDS ,

I am an IT professional came from india 3 months ago on p.r. .. after applying at plently of places finlay i got job from one of the biggest canadian IT company. The only condition is i have to relocate at atlantic side (HALIFAX OR PRINCE EDWARD ISLAND P.E.I.) ...

GUYS can someone advise me about halifax or p.e.i. .. one side i found great oppertunity and other side scared of new place....

are this places are good to settle with family ????

If it means anything, I had to move to Montreal with family. I thought I'd spend a cpl of years here and then move back to Toronto. I've been here 9 yrs now and moving back to Toronto is not on my mind anymore. Maybe Vancouver but not TO.
You'll probably find it easier to settle in PEI than in french canada.

Every area in Canada is safe for families. In PEI/Halifax job oppertunities and desi's may be less when compared to GTA,Vanc., Montral, Calgary etc.. But since you have a job, you would definitely find it easier to settle down. People of PEI/Halifax are very kind people as i hear. Donot hesitate to go there and settle down. Natural beauty and unspoilt landscapes are other plus points in that area.
