where to apply for visitor's visa ?

Hi all,

I like to invite my mother for a visit to Canada, with NO intention for permanent residence.

I was told that i could/shoud apply for her within Canada, that would have a higher chance of success.

I am completly confused about this procedure, as i don't find any info that the application can be made within Canada. I know you can sponsor your parents for permanent residence within Canada, but have not found any info for doing the same for TRV,

Can anyone help? Thanks

TRV can only be applied at a Cdn consulate which of course is only located outside Canada.
