Hi,

Just want to get some suggestion about vaccum cleaner. Which company's vaccum cleaner is good.

Acutally I don't have good experience with vaccaum clearners. I bought one Kenmore from Sears it worked about 2-1/2 years after that motor stop working. Then I bought Hoover from Future Shop and it worked 2 years.

Kenmore vaccum cost me about $175/- and Hoover one cost me about $210/=

I just wondering is regular life of Vaccum Cleaner is about 2 to 2-1/2 or I am not buying a good company vaccum cleaner.

Please let me guide.

I have been using Kenmore Powermate from sears for about 3.5 years.
So far no problems with it.

I have been using hoover for last 8 yrs. Its still going strong...

Sorry to digress.

But has anyone who used "Roomba" can share their experiences.

Dyson is the best vacuum out there. But it does cost up to $500+

Hi All,
I was reading through this thread and I got worried a bit, I have just brought a Kenmore from sears, costing $ 400.00 do you advise to also go in for their extended service warranty, it costs additional $ 100.00 but covers me for 5 years in all.After reading through all of your feed backs i think it is worth spending the ex 100 $ at this stage, please share your thoughts,

I bought one from HomeDepot ...a local brand (hmm quite dont recollect the brand name) which works very well..as in it picks up whatever it is supposed to and cost me $89 + tax..
