Buying a Laptop is cheaper by $200 Dollors in US from Staples ,Circut City as compared to Canada ,but warranty is unclear ,called Staples in Canada they tell Warranty is valid in North America ,called up again and now they say it is not ,,?
Any body dealt with this scnerio

Warranty is dependent on the manufacturer, not where you bought the laptop from. Check with the manufacturer, either at their website, or via email.

I meant extended warranty for which they charge about 175 ,it is from staples .
Manufacturer would be one year from HP.

I wish to purchase a laptop from the US . My obvious preference is less price subject to the following features . Can someone recommend some models / stores I should look at .
