Chill man! I am a sikh, and enjoy (and crack too) all the Sardar jokes a lot. He who can laugh at himself is a real man. Life is short, so have fun
well i am not a sikh....but i hate to offend a fellow indian in the name of humor...we indians find pleasure in humilating the communities....by making fun...specially in films.....like parsis they are projected as bufoons..we forget they were the first who started industries in india...south indians we know they are not the type what is projected...sikhs are projected as if they dont have brains...we forget that not a single beggar sikh is found in any part of the world.....we forget they were in forefront in independace struggle...wars 1962,1971....maximum in subhash bose army...its a rare combination of bravery and intelligence....let me tell you the 12 oclock joke buddy...reallity is....during mughal rule...afghan looters used to enter india through khyber pass they looted houses kidnapping hindu girls....sikhs were asked to help..sikh knew that the looters used to sleep around midnight ...they planned attacking them at that particular time....12 oclock.....the head of the looters was ahemed shah abdali....sikh created a terror in afghanis at 12 oclock hundereds of girls were rescued by them.
well buddy if you find humor in that then have fun....thats only what we can do..make fun of each other...and getting rediculed by other countries....
I think we've been through this before. This is light hearted humor and similar humor is directed at other desi communities as you've already mentioned. Take any joke and there'll be people who're offended by it. Hopefully we haven't reached a degree of political correctness where humor is non-existent.
If you find these jokes offensive, please do not read it. Nobody in their right mind is going to judge people or communities by these jokes.

i think word sardar is added just to offend them....through jokes if nothing else..indians are rediculed in other countries...they think we are still a country of snake charmers,unhygenic people.....and here we are busy in making fun of each other our fellow indians....if we wont respect each other we would never get respect in other countries...as well
