Here is Prem Panicker ... digging at its best

Think back to September 2003, and the Pakistan-Bangladesh series. Then Pakistan captain Rashid Latif was docked for claiming a catch, when the ball had touched the ground. He was suspended for five games -- effectively missing the entire one day series between the two sides.
On that occasion, the match referee while handing out his sentence said: "As captain a lot of responsibility falls of Rashid Latif and he committed a serious offence by claiming that (unfair) catch which constitutes unfair play and a level-three offence of ICC [Images] code of conduct (offensive and penalties). Therefore, the Pakistani captain shall be banned for five one-day internationals."
The match referee was -- surprise, surprise -- Mike Procter no less; the same official currently in the hot seat in the India versus Australia series.
BTW, The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has suspended its tour of Australia pending the outcome of an appeal for suspended spinner Harbhajan Singh
Its fun time ...

Not only should the Indian board suspend the tour until all charges against Harbhajan are withdrawn, but they should insist on an unconditional apology from the Aussie board for the behavior of its team on and off the ground.
They should also insist on an ICC hearing of the two umpires where they are asked to explain their incompetency during the match.
It's high time that incompetent and/or biased umpires are taken to task and suspended just as players can be suspended - why are umpires above the law?
If Aussie board and the ICC do not agree - India should pull out of the tour and let the spolit Australian team stick up the "Gavaskar-Border" trophy you-know-where.
Better still, recall the entire Indian test team and replace them with a bunch of 18-year olds from the local University cricket circuit in small Indian cities.
Let the Australians shame themselves by beating a bunch of school kids.
