M 2611 is absolutely Wrong. First, and foremost there are institutions like the Police, the presecutors, the defence, and finally the system of punishment.
It is true that the courts are clogged with hundreds of thousands of cases, and justice is hard to come by. Does that justify vigilante justice? Does that mean that it is right
to take law into my own hands? No, never!
The one thing that I fail to understand is how the media reaches this place just around the time the teacher gets beaten? The other day I saw on an Indian channel, how some "Kannada activists" ransacked the southern railway headquarters in Bangalore........ I saw this guys enter the General Manager's room, ransack the furniture, and cause damage worth thousands of rupees.......... everything was shot, live, for the benefit of the channel's viewers?
Is there something about the timing that I should be concerned about? How did the photographers from the channel reach with their camera's just in time to cover everything? Any answers?..........
