Thank you for replying, I actually mailed the application but somehow I suspected that I might have sent less money
But I figured it again and its $75 for the sponsor, would have been doubled if I had a spouse
As far as the application goes, I am not sure about sending 2 application ( separate - one for father and one for mother ) as the application clearly states principal applicant and accompanying members
I confirmed with another person on a different website and they also said it's principal applicant, their signature and accompanying members have to mentioned in the form
Also, from a fee point of view
- In one application, the fee is
$75 ( sposor )
$475 ( Principal Applicant )
$550 ( Accompany Member )
= $1100
So if am doing 2 ( one for each )
wouldn't it be
$475 again ? as mother would be principal applicant and which means I will be paying them less
..and I am doing 2 completely separate - then the income would be like sponsoring for 2 people ( 1 me and father ) + 2 ( 1 me and mother ) - double the LICO for me?
Here is a link about LICO. It gets too complicated even to the Fraser Institute people that does some calculations with it.
http://oldfraser.lexi.net/publications/forum/1998/june/welfare.html
But the article is an old one.
They will write and ask you for the exact sum of dollars from you. Their computers are sharper than ours. So, don't worry.
But for the calculations of the income requirement, they have a table that they use and also use the LICO, if it is required.
It is great that you got your application IN.
Hope everything will fall in place.
Freddie.
