I may not agree with your opinions, but I will fight to death for you be able to air your views.
Have'nt you learnt anything? One is barely shut and you go and open a parallel pandoras box.
I don't think there is anything wrong since its a personal issue.
That being said, I personally have a problem with anything claiming to be the one, perfect solution to everyones problems as most of the evangelists from the newer religions project their ideologies to potential converts. BUT, I should not be so arrogant as to decide that someone else is not smart enough to make the correct decision about what is a good religion for them.
I guess its a personal choice that a person has to make in a free country...Consumer beware.

Yes ….. it is wrong. If you are converting for monetary gains, then in "my opinion"you are not even true to the faith you are converting to.
As for converting to any faith, it is purely your personal decision and should be left to that.
In the end I can only say …. You CAN convert even if you have been rich, well fed and totally pampered by your neighbours & government since 1947. The best example would be George Harrison and even Cat Stevens. They were rich, well fed and totally pampered and certainly did not need money for their children … but they did convert.

Mumbai Maazi Ladki ...
Its a very circumstantial question. Similarly
1. Is it right to eat meat if you're a vegetarian in a little tug-boat in the middle of the ocean, the only food available is meat and you'll die if you don't eat?
2. What if you're muslim and the only meat available is pork?
3. What if there's a guy on the boat who's deathly sick and based on how much weight the boat can take, it'll sink if you don't throw him overboard?
IMHO a fundamental survival question cannot be filtered through a moral compass like this.

Are you there?
Yes, as a Muslim I am able to confirm that. If you're Muslim and the only food available is pork meat, you are allowed to eat it if you have a risk of dying hungry or becoming sick due to hunger.
Food is God, if you are hungry.
