I very much agree with jyoti with her reasons to move to canada. Insecurity is a big factor here. I do agree tax free income and safe life here in Dubai is a plus point but then for how long we dont know. Even after 25 years living in Dubai there is no benefit for my parents. They have the same status as the new commer. Dubai govt attitude is to attract more and more europeans and Americans. Indian are paid half the salary of americans for doing the same job. Law is like sheikhs dream. Its different every morning.

Other reason i feel that it might be possible today to canada but may be impossible in years to come. I feel Canada will give us access to rest of the world easily. For us in Dubai Infrastructure in not at an attraction infact we are very much aware things will not be smooth in canada but there we can plan for future. Efforts put in today will give result may be in a decade but they will cause we can plan long term. In dubai its impossible.

Yes, again i agree grass is greener on the otherside always but i guess on the otherside we can stay till we want. ..... Dont' you agree jyoti ?

I have just recd my PR papers and intend landing in late April in Canada. I intend going to London for an MBA at UWO. wanted to know what would be the approx cost of a 2 BR appt in a University town. I have a family with 2 small kids.
