We are looking for a 2-bedroom apartment or basement apartment, preferably in Scarborough area. We would be arriving end May/early June. We would most likely have to bring our 4-year-old dog along since the children are very attached to her. I know most landlords don't like dogs. Please advise.

We are in the same boat. We live in the US and over the years have managed to accumulate two dogs and a cat I'll check around for sites that list apartments allowing pets and let you know.

There is few points to keep in mind before come in dubai-

1) Children education-Here in UAE boys after 12th can't stay here for further studies, they have to go either in india or other countries.
2) Here rules are made for the benefit of employees.
3) U always feel unsecure becoz if u leave ur job you have to go back to ur country & afraid of ban also.
4) They are discriminate with peoples. For europeans/usa they give them more facilities like accomodation/medical ,more salaries then indians.

Lots of point you have to keep in mind before come here.
