Hi guys,

I've question about 64 bit architecture vs. 32 bit OS.

If I'll buy laptop with 64 bit Vista OS, can I reinstall 32 bit XP on this laptop?

I hope then there should not be any problem of other 32 bit drivers or softwares to run on this new laptop. [My pamtop, MagicJack and some other external devices will work on this laptop]

Anyone have an experience?

Thanks in Advance,

Currently, most of the Fixed Hard Drives have a Very Large Capacity. If you have programs such as Partition Majic or similar, it will permit you to divide your hard drive into suitable sections to accommodate your requirements.

You can then load different OS's and use the same computer and change from one OS to the other or many more of the older versions. I have one such animal in use, but I only use the older version of the OS in which I have mail, and documents to refer back to, just in case I need. I rarely use that portion of the hard drive.

Please consult a few more before attempting to do it.

Hope this helps you a little.

Freddie.

absolutely, if you have 64bit processor you can install 32 bit OS but not vice versa.

like freddie said, either you can have a dual boot system or can use a VMWare.
