Go ahead and accept the job as you find it paying you more and with better benefits.
There are tax programs available on the shelf in many stores or even on the net. If you have all the T slips, RRSP receipts, interest and charity slips etc., then fill into the program and "e-file" over the net. If you have to pay, then send in a cheque for the amount. If you are going to receive a refund, then it will go to the address on the Tax return. Ask one of your friends to collect the same and forward it to the address where you are moving. OR ask the CRA to deposit it into the Bank where you have an account. You have to write an e-mail and send it to them with account number etc.,
If you are leaving Canada for good, then do not apply for the Child Benefit. But you can get it as long as you are living here. Apply and get approved. Not knowing the dates and if you are ever going to return back to Canada, any time in the future, unable to help you without information on a lot of tax planning tips. See Leaving Canada thread. Post your queries there.
Good Luck.
Hope this helps you a little.
Freddie.
