I came to canada in May 2006. As my mother expired I had to go back in Jan 07. I was there in India for about 4 months and came back in May07.
As per the calculation sheet my Citizenship is due in Sept09.
There is a column in the application form where one has to mention ' Addresses in the last 4 years' (Col 7 f) of the application
My question is : Do I have to give the Indian Address for this period (Jan07 to May07)or The Canadian Address where my children were staying in my absence.
Consider yourself absent from Canada for 4 months instead of having lived in India for that 4 months. Your primary residence was in Canada and you visited India to attend to your mother's passing.
With that, you do not have to report the Indian address, but report that time as absence from Canada.
