I too would like to move back to India, although you'd think I am bananas to chuck a C$70,000 per year job to go back. But honestly, I am just plain tired of this country after 5 years and would prefer to go back to that pot of dust, filth, grime and corruption I call "home". Any leads how to get a break back home??

You are welcome back ANYTIME to "that pot of dust, filth, grime and corruption you call "home" BUT you can get away from that if you want to-To the chilling cool or the pleasant silence at the Himalayas. To Indian villages, where a million dollar smile will always invite you. To the beautiful and serene beaches of GOA. To the idyllic backwaters of Kerala-To the snowy peak of Kanchenjunga.
WELCOME to Gods own Country. Desert to Snow; Natural Jungle to Concrete Jungle.
A single description of India would be difficult because it is so diverse. We have the Himalaya guarding us in the North, Indian Ocean in the South, Bay of Bengal in the East and Arabian Sea in the West.
People in India are known to be the most warm and friendly people. After a few days, you will learn to love them - for in no place in the world will you be treated with the kind of warmth that you will in India.
Life comes close and comes to standstill
When I get into the aura of thinking of the Bengal in the East
But it gives me courage when I look at vastness
Which takes it all the way down to the Indian Ocean in the South
I feel the power and the Ecstasy of the Night
When I get going and see the ships moving to the Arabian Sea in the West
I come close to home and feel the closeness
When I go up all the way to the North and see Himalaya Standing Guard
When I look at North, East , West & South Touching each other somewhere or the other than I feel that I have come to India
