Hello, I’m a proud Canadian of Indian origin. For my family, cousin’s friends etc Canada has been nothing but great to us. My folks came here in the 90’s and my dad an accountant works at CRA and my mom as a PR person, they did their homework’s before coming to Canada and were open to this country’s culture, environment, work ethic, mannerism etc.
So yeah if you want to come to my beloved country and behave like as though you were back in India well then please stay in India and don’t come here!!
And if you are here and hate this place soooo much then why do you get this country’s citizenship?? Why do u still live here and complain and complain GO BACK to so called great India!!
We live in an internet age and you know what you are getting into so even after that you choose to come, then ADAPT TO THE CANADIAN WAY!!

We are also in the same page as you. We want Canadian Govt. to stop immigration as too many qualified people are coming and competing with local born people and thus a lot of local born people are losing job.
Regarding immigrants going back to India, I am sure that 90 % of the immigrant population (excluding IT and FInance people) will go back, should the Govt. of Canada compensate the immigrants for the loss of their finances and giving them the old job that they had prior to migrating.
You might have been lucky (seeing your language skills in a previous post) but not all are nor are as they donot have native born colour nor do they possess native born accent.
So many immigrants have gone through the internet and some have even paid lakhs to crooked agents to come here. This is because of Canada's probagation machine which spews garbage like :
1.Immigrants will replace native born people in the work force in 2010 (2002 stats)
2.Canada canot fill 1 million jobs
3.Canada is the best country to live in.
4.Canada cold is nothing when dressed properly
5.Sex education is taught at schools
6.Canadians dress skimpily in the summer
7. Healthcare, sec. education is free
8. Canada pays to have children
9. Canadians have the best retired life (without working)

Who will not immigrate for the above said reasons ?

It is one of the worst countries for professionals to immigrate to as there no jobs for immigrants. The cost of living is over the roof.

Yes I can sing O’canada and I can sing it in French too as I took French in high school and as a Canadian I proud that I can speak both languages of my country.
For TK.. stop with the freaking propagation machine crap ok!! IF they read yours and all the other posts that say Canada is bad and blah blah, and they still choose to come then its not Canada’s fault! So stop whining ok!!
And in terms of skin color and accent im brown and my dad and mom speak with accents so do my folks friends and they all have good jobs and they make here in the 90’s and no not all are in finance/IT some are in arts, engineering etc so again stop with the whining!!!
And I did my Masters in OZ and do you know how expensive Sydney is or London or Tokyo and all so stop with this crap of cost of living crap ok!!
Canada is the best country and greatest country and if you don like don’t come or leave!!
