Hey Guys
My cousin was in US for 5 years on H1 visa with IBM. The job required long stay away from home (In USA) and hence went back to India in end 2003. Now he is with Pattani computers and has great job (Rs 10.00 lacs p.a. + perks) May be in monetory terms he is not as well off as in U.S.A. but is extremely happy with his life there. All depends what kind of job u get in India. But I guess now Canada's fraud has been exposed in India and I have my doubts our "Canadian experience" is worth a paisa! After 5 yaers in Canada we are stuck Good for nothing any where in world. This IS REAL TRAGEDY.
Depending on what sector you are in, try applying thro' the websites of companies. Many of the major & medium companies in India also have their websites now so apply thro' their career section.
Try websites like http://www.naukri.com" rel="nofollow">LINK, http://www.mafoi.com" rel="nofollow">LINK who are recruitment agencies. In the IT sector you could look at companies like Iflex, Satyam, PCS, Infosys, L&T, TCS & so many other major MNCs who have their development centres in India. Places like Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, Mumbai, Chennai, Delhi, Ahmedabad should be good places to move.
I had a cousin who moved back to India from U.K. after going there for 3 months because he could not find any job there in IT sector. He took some time to get a job again in India but is earning more than 1 lac per month now & is working with iflex which is taken over by Oracle now.
I know of people who have migrated back from US & Canada after getting jobs in India. For engineers in other fields, you could try major companies like Reliance, L&T, Essar & so many others. Ofcourse not all would be able to get jobs in big companies so you can try thro' your contacts as well. Many people would do well to try for the Gulf countries as well.
Me moving back to India too in the next year without any job in hand.
Sochna kya, jo bhi hoga dekha jayega. Came to Canada without any job in hand in Canada, hope to leave Canada without any job in India.
Who knows, I might start a business assisting people to migrate to Canada. Ha, ha !
Thanks & regards.
Rajan.
