Hi friends,
I am eligible to apply for PR under skilled workers cat. Afters filling up my forms etc, my banker, namely HDFC bank at visakhapatnam refused to make a DD for canada saying the application has to be stamped by a consultancy firm. I wish to apply directly and not through a broker or consultancy firm as demanded by the bank. Please reply if there is a way out.

Try other banks. It is not required to get stamped by consultancy.
What skilled category you are applying for ?

it rediculos thing. HDFC should not ask the application to get stamped from a consultancy. it is not concerned to the bank. if you have difficulty in making DD then try Credit Card system which recently cic.gc.ca introduced. try ICICI bank.
