Hi Peacock1,
It's my pleasure to share my views and experiences of other families. As Mr.Masood mentioned, come with your ENTHUSIATIC family. It will really help. I know an ex-colleague of mine, in about his mid 40s, landed with wife, a son abt 18yrs, and a physically handicapped daughter abt 17 yrs. (working and earning). And in no time they have managed to buy their own CONDO, thanks to more sources of income.
I know couple of other such families. I myself persoanlly benefited by coming here with my wife. As regard your Q abt Vancouver or Toronto, both cities are wonderful. I am in Toronto, have no great idea abt Vancouver. But the job mkt is same everywhere. If you have any family members or friends already in N.America, they would be great support in the initial period. (Morally not Financially).
If you decide to settle in Greater Toronto Area, please feel free to contact me for any help, including airport p/u. I'll try my best if it happens to be a weekend.
All the best again to you and your family !!!
