Story - new immigrant, looking for accommodation near public transit, sthg around 800-1000, aptmt near Don Mills and Sheppard v convenient, slightly expensive but nearly impossible to rent- are booked in 1 hr(
- infact as soon as u are out of leasing office), or some aptmts will rent only on 1st of month
Someone in my workplace suggested the following apartments:
Lawrence Apartments
1004 Lawrence Avenue East
Toronto, ON
(Bus 25 to Don Mills Subway station) - cheaper in rent, availability is immediate
I wanted suggestions from our senior desis - whether i should hold on for 3 weeks for the ever elusive Don Mills sheppard aptmts or go in for the lawrence aptmts.
WELL I HAVE BASEMENT APARTMENT FOR RENT, TWO BEDROOM, KITCHEN, WASHROOM CAN COST U 7504 WITH UTILITY, 1 CAR PARKING AND UTILITIES.
AT MORNINGSIDE AND OLD FINCH. BUS U NEED TO TAKE IS 131 AND THEN 85 TO DONMILLS.

rent is $ 750 for two bedroom, living room, kitchen, full washroom with seprate entrance. i can make it $ 650 for one bedroom. choice is yours
