Name difference in Canadian Passport and previous Indian passport - Missing

Hello,
I need help for above issue. I got my Canadian passport before 2 months. In canadian passport there is no Middle name column. My indian passport and Immigration document IMM5292 has middle name on it. When I applied for OCI, VFS tells that your name on Canadian pasport is different then which is on Indian passport, because you do not have middle name on Canadian passport !!! They tells me to apply for formal name change throgh service ontario or apply for new Canadian passport . I am shocked because my name is correct on all documents. Only difference is that in Canadian passport there is no middle name column, so it is not there. But VFS treats it as name change or wrong name. And my citizen certificate is also having middle name, which is similar to Indian Passport or IMM5292.
please provide some information. I really appreciate any help on this issue. I am really worried because both procedures are expensive and time consuming.

Go to Passport Office in person with all of the documents, especially with the Canadian Citizenship Certificate and tell them that your name is not recorded in the {CANADIAN Passport,} there, in full as it does so in the Indian Passport and the Citizenship document and you want a NEW Passport with Full Details as noted there in those documents. Pay for the New Passport and you should have it with in ten days. Also explain to them the problems you are experiencing in obtaining the OCI Card etc.,
