I send in the application with all the papers and fees about a month ago. I got a job offer from middle east. I was wondering can i travel out of Canada and come back with they want me to write the test?
Please let me know if it works this way or I have to stay here till i get my Canadian passport
It may take a year to have CAN passport in your hand. If your PR is not expiring soon, you can go to Middle East for job and appear for test when you get a date. Make sure you have submitted all required documents and CIC doesn't have to call/contact you for any incorrect or incomplete info on the application or regarding fees.

thanks for your reply, my PR doesn't expires till Jan 2013. so just in case I don't get my citizen till then, can i always come back and renew it?
It may takes 3 months to get confirmation letter that your application has been recieved and they will send you test preparation DISCOVER CANADA book. You can down load same kit in pdf format book and start reading.

**Once you will get letter for appear for test that time will be short 2-4 weeks, so just plan ahead and be ready to return ontime.
