IMO, keep refrain to comment on any community in this forum....if you can't help than don't comment..
your above comments won't help out the OP any how....
How would you know he or she is Gujarati?? but not Punjabi, Muslim, christian, south Indian, Maharastrian or any part of India or Pakistani, Bangladesi, Afghani....??????
"Fanstatic indian lawyer" sounds too good to be true..
There are a number of threads on this forum for Bad desi movers, bad desi realtors, bad desi contractors.. we dont need another for bad indian lawyers..
Hiring a lawyer is a good advice even if this involves spending a good chuck of money.. keeping a clean criminal record is far more important than u think..
But taking someones referral from a non legal forum is walking on thin ice..

Hi CD,
One of my friend has been charged yesterday for shoplifting "theft under $5000" in Walmart-Brampton. The product was under $10 and was her first offence. Her husband was also caught in camera beside her and he is also charged with the same, though he was merely telling her not to do.
They have been given the notice of appearance by police for finger prints in one date and in court for 2nd day. Its her first offense as she never did this sort of things before. She's really terrified and feeling guilty.
Can somebody please advise how it may effect her and her husband personally and the best way to overcome out of all charges.
Is it better for them to hire a lawyer??
Any suggestion will be appreciated.
Everyone makes mistakes.. I can fully understand what your friend and his wife should be going through mentally... My friend went through a similar problem and Thanks to this fantastic Indian Lawyer the problem was fully solved .
Please ask her to call me at 647-280-1808 . Ask your friend not to delay as time is very critical in these types of situations.

26 post wonder with a id called "desiuser" does not make him as a veteran.. Seemed like someone soliciting work by using buzz words "Fantastic Indian Lawyer" and posting a phone number..
There is a chance that the recommendation could be genuine but who is going to validate that.. Wanted to warn the person before he fell into another trap..

One more preacher than the actual action of helping out,anyhow....
I trust contents and advise of veteran desis on this forum and would consider the advises seriously than venturing out on my own. Moderators so far did an excellent job of keeping the sanctity of this site intact.
I would also not hesitate considering your suggestion in case of need because I know 99.99% veteran desis on this forum would not mislead. I don't think so anyone intentionally recommended bad desi mover, realtor, etc on this sire, rather they alerted about bad ones.
@ sumu
The best option is to take assistance from Community legal aid clinic. You can find the details on LegalTree.ca (Free legal advice organizations in Ontario)
