I am not saying bad about Canada when I am ready to leave. It is what I believe. No one will be 100% satisfy with all govt policy in any country of the world.
I am not satisfy with poor health care system here and there are lot other things which are not good for me but same time there are many other things which are better for me than India and USA.
This is the country who gave me rights in short time when I was looking for it. This is the country where I got chance to grow financially quickly when I was looking for it. Most of all immigrants came here to make money. Now a days world is open and few people are coming for better living standard but still most of all immigrants come here to make money. There is nothing wrong. Financial stable situation required for doing some better things for our life satisfication.
Have you noticed that most of us who discussing about good/bad thing of Canada or India are in Canada from many years? Do you know what is the reason and why we are discussing now? Why we didn't discuss when we were in race of making money and searching for jobs? How much we were happy when we got first 50K Job in Canada? How much we were happy when we saved first $1000 per month? Now, it doesn't matter because we satisfy with living standard and realize that making more money is not only the life and there is no end. There are lots of other things need to consider in life and that is why we are discussing about what is better Canada/India from individual perspective?
There is nothing wrong. It is better to realize money is not important than everything else and look for life satisfication either in India or Canada or USA.
Our requirements, thinking and views keep changing with our age, responsibility and financial situation.
Please note that I have not decided to leave Canada yet. I'll have to take this decision in this weekend and up to today I am in favour of staying in Canada instead moving to USA.
I will inform to everyone about my final decision on Monday.
Well said..But TK is not here to get into arguments...he is missing Canada so badly that he is pacifying himself by showing off that how happy he is in India and enjoying free meal, free air fare, free power cut-offs ,200 lb weight etc. Better to ignore than responding to his rant...More you respond more delighted he will be. and then he will start recommending Eli manning for Bharat Ratna...yes, Agree with you. you are right that it din't crumble as much as Arizona & Florida but it is still affordable & definetly far better than GTA prices. Living in Bay Area has huge adavantage in terms of Job Market specially for IT Guys but the area you choose to live is key & that will help specially if you loose a job & needs to find another one. I used to live in Walnut creek which is one of the prime area & very nice nighbourhood . My job is based in Sanfrancisco but i could still travel to Silicon city by Car every day if i had to & San Ramon / oakland is like 15 miles from Walnut creek which has some major big tech companies.

The housing didn't crumble like Arizona or Florida, it is still expensive there but taking the tax advantage, it still works better than owning an average house in canada (excepting GTA where it is beyond practical).
More than some one living in California, those moving from Canada would enjoy living in Bay area more. They are running the technology / business of world unlike GTA which runs the business for Canada for most of its part.

Things have changed since the recession time in california. houses are more affordable now than pre recession times. I have lived in bayarea for almost 7 years before immigrating to canada in 2010. I used to think that house prices are so expensive in california but after moving i realised that that GTA is way way more expensive than the current home prices in Bay area. Free health care in canada is totally different topic and this has been debated several times here but from my experience the quality of health care they provide in US is top notch. All i used to pay is only 250$ for entire family / month & rest is paid by employer. Message me & I can probably provide more details on life style & differnce between GTA & Bayarea.

Thanks guys.
I agree with dimple2001 and I am not against paying premium for OHIP even if I am not using it at this time. We never know and anytime we need to use it and it would be very beneficial.
I am not happy with health care system because of long queue for an appointments. I have noticed that people are getting long term appointments and appointment and not treatments. Anyway, this is different issue and I don't want to discuss in this thread.
My decision of moving to USA will be depends on:
1) Parent sponsor file. After waiting for many years, there is the hope that parents will join us in couple of years. I had plan for moving back to India but that is not happening due to some other reasons. It is getting delayed and delayed and I believe there are less chances to move back to India if I will spend more times in Canada/USA.
2) Uncertainity of Job and rights (Greencard) in USA. Also, don't prefer to be in "chakraview" of another immigration process. Here, Job is not secure in this economy but still full rights and easily can survive in compare of USA.
I will see what happens on Monday.
Thanks,

meitsme,
I understand you have to weigh your options based on parents' situation. However, from strictly a career point of view, I'd ask you not to worry too much about GC and uncertainty of job security. Because, you have absolutely no control over those.
Look at it this way, do you absolutely need a GC? Then go for it and do everything you need to accomplish and accept it as a fact that you will undergo a certain amount of stress associated with it. If not, take it as a career, go on TN (or H1) and change jobs if you feel like it and if opportunities presents itself and enjoy your time. USA is a beautiful country with its own good and bads.

Thanks dimple2001.
I have few more question for you guys.
How easily I can get rights to stay in USA if loosing job on TN or H1B? and for how long?
What are the risk of buying home without GC?
