You need to be more specific - what you need? You can use expedia.ca to search for hotels as without knowing your budget, how many people, how many days/weeks, nobody can suggest you hotel.

Any hotel in Vancouver downtown is close to transit. Avoid in all circumstances cheap hotel on East Hasting Street, Vancouver.

If you want complete Desi area (want a feel of Jalandhar) then go straight to Scott Road anywhere from 96 Ave to 80 Ave in Surrey. Most of the areas are good for Indians to live (there are always exception). If you can be more specific about your requirement then one of us can guide you.

Dear Friends,

Kindly suggest some good hotels in Vancouver. We are Indians, new immigrants landing mid Sept. Need some good hotels close to transit.

Also suggest some good areas for Indians to live in.

Many Thanks

Thanks for your reply. We will use public transport. I like Burnaby option as its location is central. I never thought of that. When you go through Gateway property management, do you have to pay them a finder's fee or like a monthly fee?

How many monthly fee for Gateway property management?
