Does any one has experience in email communication with Ottawa?. My in-laws has done medical in Dec 2012 and still we have not heard anything?. Any idea or personal experience to communication with Ottawa?

Dec 2012 is nothing ....
You need to have lots of patience ...
It is waste of time to write now ..... The best thing you can do is .... "WAITING"
Anyway answer to you question is ... you can email to ottawa. You will get a general response after few days .... saying " ....bla..bla...bla... .. respective visa office is attending the file .... and soon you will hear from us ..... thank you for your interest in canada ......"
