For me spending in a strip club is good use..

The main question is having access to cash tempts people to go for impulse shopping. As going to the mall is a fairly routine weekend activity, chances are a little bit of weak self-discipline can result in unnecessary waste of money..

In your initial days - Preserve what you have. This is your savings from back home (its more like a peace of mind). I know a lot of people who spend almost all their initial money, & then get desperate (cause it takes time for Canadian savings to build up).

If strip club rocks your boat, have at it.

I'll end this discussion here with a note that when I said "good use", I meant a purpose that will have a positive impact. It was you who interpreted it as potential frivolous spending. In any case, I am not the one to judge how and why a person spends their hard earned money. The awards and consequences are theirs and theirs only.
