Would there be any hurdle in obtaining TN1 for the position of Database Manager from USA. Some where I heard it was difficult for IT project managers... Anything that goes like "Manager" has some difficulties. I could be wrong.

The job title in your TN letter is important, not the position that is internal to the company. If the job title is not in the list of TN titles, TN will not be granted.

Out of qualification and experience with respect to job title , I think that qualification matter more .... Say and Electrical Engineer with 10 years of Computer Systems Analyst experience - would most likely be refused than say a Computer Science 4 year graduate with 3 years of experience .
Is the above valid ? Since I know a case where an Elec Engineer + 10 years of experience did get a TN Visa initially for an year and was renewed later ....
So slightly confused about which carries more weight when a TN is processed ...

Fido.
After reading various forums and with past TN experience I came to conclusion that relevant field of studies carries the most weight .

What would you tell the Border agents if you've been asked to appear for a face to face interview.
I guess, showing them the interview confirmation email and telling them that you are heading to attend the interview is fair enough..
