Hasni:
One more (legal) money that Canada provides is the 'Second Career program'.
You have to work on payroll for 9 months or more and then get laid off. Once you do, Govt. of Canada will pay $ 28,000 on a college course, weekly income for you, parking charges, gas charges to do the course. It can be upto 3 year course in a community college or elsewhere.
I did that course. But due to family compulsion, I did SAP HR in a desi institute. He cheated me by taking the govt. of Canada money and teaching very badly. I complained to Govt. of Canada. They stopped the 3 rd. installment of fees to him but they were not willing to help me.
Hope this will be of good use to you and your wife.
Please read the thread at Redflag deals for more info.. It is perfectly legal.

This is useful, if you are visiting the airport to send off your friends.
As you know the trolley at the aiport is got for $ 2 and 25 cents is given back when you hand it over. Many will just leave the trolly on the road and leave. So you can collect these trollies and push it back in the stand and get 25 cents for each one put in the stand.
Areas to look out for :
1. Car parking areas
2. Departure lounge (near the check in areas)
3. Arrival pick up area.
For 30 mins of work, you will get around $ 8.
Watch out for the somali cartel which is prevalent at the airport and sometimes they will choo you off. So be descrete.
Hope this helps.

Nothing stupid about TK's post . I travelled in March , 2014 ..I clearly remember paying $ 2.00 for a cart.
Both while departing and arriving...I checked in 3-4 areas with 50-60 carts in each place & they were all $ 2.00 , and you get only 25 cents back on returning the cart.
Only in a few limited areas they have started CIBC bank Free carts ..looks like a recent dvelopment.

I am travelling alone to Canada after two days. illegal request edited out
Secondly, I shall be reaching in the day time, around 12.30 pm, is there any public transport available which can take me to mississauga, another move just so save few buck and to get a chance to know how the public transport works there. Thanks
Yes take Mississauga Transit ( Mi Way ) Bus # 7 going SOUTH towards City Centre Terminal ( aka Square One )
If you just have 1-2 Carry On small bag , you can easily get on.
But for larger bags GO Bus or Taxi is better..will be extremely difficult to get on Mi Way with large bags, probably not even allowed.
Once at City Centre Transit Terminal ( last stop ) , you have option to take connecting buses to go elsewhere.
Where in Mississauga are you going ??
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Check the link below to see where Public Transit is located on the terminal . There are signs everywhere, plus you can always ask someone.

MiWay : ( Bus # 7 ) ..Make sure you are at the right terminal & on the righ LEVEL.
Local bus service within the City of Mississauga.
Terminal 1, Ground Level, second curb, Column S4.
